dc.description.abstract | Una vez que en los años cincuenta se introdujo la aviación a reacción con altos niveles de confiabilidad en el mundo, el estudio de la administración de los recursos de cabina se convirtió en objeto de observación. Especialmente, luego de los resultados presentados por la National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) en 1979, donde señalo que cerca del 70 % de los accidentes en la aviación tenían altos componentes del factor humano (Kanki et al., 2019).
En dicho estudio, se demostró que el trabajo en equipo, la comunicación y el liderazgo son tres factores que afectaban de manera directa el performance de la tripulación y que la degradación de alguno de ellos afecta la seguridad de vuelo (National Aeronautics and Space Administration, 1979). A partir de ese análisis, el Crew Resource Management (CRM) tomó fuerza y comenzó a mejorar e implementar nuevas estrategias para fortalecer la capacidad individual de las tripulaciones para usar de manera efectiva todos los recursos, con lo que se aumenta la eficiencia y seguridad en cabina.
Sin embargo, a pesar de que el estudio y los métodos de aprendizaje han evolucionado en este aspecto, estos componentes aún están presentes en los accidentes aéreos como factores causales. Por esa razón, se hace importante revisar desde la teoría los factores que generan predisposición positiva al aprendizaje y cómo –desde los procesos neuronales, el aprendizaje cognitivo y las teorías del aprendizaje– se pueden optimizar y reforzar las redes neuronales y los modelos mentales respecto a cómo se gestiona de la mejor manera un recurso, en este caso de cabina, para lograr un objetivo común, aumentar los niveles de seguridad, garantizar una operación segura y eficiente, reducir el error y el estrés y aumentar la eficiencia (SKYbrary, 2020).
En 1949, Donald Hebb propuso que los recuerdos son almacenados creando nuevas conexiones entre neuronas, a este proceso se le denomina sinapsis neuronal; empero, para que esta unión perdure, debe usarse con regularidad, de lo contrario la conexión podrá perderse. Al respecto, Facundo Manes, neurocientífico, sostuvo que la motivación, la inspiración y los sentimientos influyen en la memoria. En este sentido, a partir de ambas propuestas, el conocimiento debe ser significativo y de uso frecuente para que, desde el punto de vista de la cognición, el proceso mental frente a la administración de recursos de cabina evoque redes neuronales específicas que resulten en un comportamiento adecuado para lograr operaciones aéreas seguras. | spa |
