dc.descriptionMany of the problems of violence and intolerance are associated with a deficit of mechanisms that allow the individual to function effectively, and therefore are trying to find tools of social relevance to define the factors that shape these behaviors in order to develop methodologies to develop techniques geared towards assertive skills that reinforce these individual characteristics in each subject. This is why this research focused on identifying the components of social competence with which children and adolescents have Bucaramanga and relationship with demographic characteristics (age, education, socioeconomic status). A quantitative study, cross-sectional correlational raised. The sample was for convenience, with a total of 330 participants aged between 8 and 17 years. Messy scale the applied and analysis of results was carried out by SPSS. The results show that you can’t define a direct relationship between social skills possessed by an individual and sociodemographic data, corroborating the influence of other factors in multivariate development.eng
dc.descriptionMuchas de las problemáticas de violencia e intolerancia están asociadas al déficit de mecanismos que permitan al individuo desenvolverse eficazmente, por ende se intentan buscar herramientas de relevancia social que permitan definir los factores que moldean estos comportamientos con el fin de elaborar metodologías para desarrollar técnicas enfocadas hacia las competencias asertivas que refuercen estas características individuales en cada sujeto. Es por ello, que este artículo de investigación se enfocó en identificar los componentes de la competencia social con los que cuentan los niños y adolescentes de Bucaramanga y la relación con sus características demográficas (edad, nivel educativo, estrato socioeconómico).  Se planteó un estudio cuantitativo, de corte transversal correlacional.  La muestra fue por conveniencia,  con un total de 330 participantes con edades entre 8 y 17 años.  Se aplicó la escala Messy y el análisis de resultados se llevó a cabo a través de SPSS.  Los resultados obtenidos muestran que no se puede definir una relación directa entre las competencias sociales que posee un individuo y sus datos sociodemográficos, corroborando la influencia de otros factores multivariados en su desarrollo.spa
dc.descriptionMuitos dos problemas de violência e intolerância estão associados com um déficit de mecanismos que permitam ao indivíduo funcionar de forma eficaz, portanto, tenta-se procurar ferramentas de relevância social para a definição dos fatores que moldam esses comportamentos, a fim de desenvolver metodologias para criar técnicas focadas nas habilidades assertivas que melhorem estas características individuais em cada pessoa. É por isso que este trabalho de pesquisa foi focado na identificação dos componentes da competência social que têm crianças e adolescentes na cidade de Bucaramanga, e a relação com as suas características demográficas (idade, escolaridade, estado socioeconômico). Se apresentou um estudo quantitativo, de correlação transversal. A amostra foi por conveniência, com um total de 330 participantes com idades entre 8 e 17 anos. Se aplicou a escala Messy e a análise dos resultados foi levada a cabo através do programa SPSS. Os resultados mostram que não é possível definir uma relação direta entre as habilidades sociais possuídas por um indivíduo e seus dados sócio demográficos, confirmando a influência de outros fatores multivariados no seu desenvolvimento.por
