dc.descriptionThis article reviews various concepts that have been developed around the concept of curriculum. From these, it attempts to carry out a cultural approach to its construction through the development of specific social relations involving teachers, students, and society. It proposes that a curriculum is a wholly intentional or teleological activity, ultimately designed to form the outlook of students. The reflection, which is descriptive and qualitative, is based on a literature review and on the subjective and individual analysis of the author. It seeks to approach the concept of curriculum from the framework of social participation. Additionally, it argues that the curriculum of any educational institution must be the product of social construction, in which the educational community, teachers, students, parents, the manufacturing sector, and society in general must all be involved. This will allow the members of an educational community to take ownership of the curriculum. It is necessary to take into account the ecological as well as the social context. The latter is composed of political, economic, and cultural factors, which all play a role in the construction of a credo, that is, a well-founded curriculum and its application in the classroom.eng
dc.descriptionEl presente articulo revisa diversas concepciones que se han construido alrededor del currículo e intenta desde ellas, realizar una aproximación cultural de su construcción a través del desarrollo de un conjunto de relaciones sociales especificas, docente, educando y sociedad. Se plan tea el currículo como una actividad eminentemente intencional o con un prop6sito determinado, por la cual se trata de formar, en Ultima instancia, la concepción del mundo de los educandos. Esta reflexión es de tipo cualitativo descriptivo, se fundamenta en una revisión bibliográfica y el análisis subjetivo e individual del autor, al hacer una aproximación al concepto de currículo desde lo social participativo. Se quiere demostrar cómo el currículo de toda institución educativa, debe ser el producto de una construcci6n social, en el que deben participar en su edificaci6n, la comunidad educativa, docentes, estudiantes, padres de familia, sector productivo, sociedad civil en general. Esto permitirá que los integrantes de una comunidad educativa sientan como suyo el currículo. Esta elaboraci6n ha de tener en cuenta el contexto natural integrado por el ambiente y sus componentes ecológicos, el contexto social constituido por factores económicos, políticos, culturales, ingredientes que participan en la construcción de un contexto credo, que es el currículo propiamente establecido y su aplicaci6n en el aula de clase en donde se materializa.spa
